Abstract
God
himself warns Adam and his progeny (us) that Iblis and his progeny are our
sworn enemies and that we must beware of them. It is essential to understand
the root cause of the enmity, as well as the objective, so that we realise the ferociousness of the enmity and the need to keep guard.

Adam
is the point where the narration of human history begins in the
scriptures. The Quran states that when
Adam was created, God honoured Adam above the angels, ordering the angels to prostrate/submit to Adam. Iblis arrogantly refused, and swore to mislead Adam and his progeny,
desiring their destruction.
On
the Day of Judgment, God will ask the criminals:
[Quran
36:60 36:61, Translation: Literal,
(Word by Word)] Did not I enjoin upon you O Children of Adam! That (do) not
worship the Shaitaan, indeed, he (is) for you an enemy clear, And that you
worship Me? This (is) a Path Straight.
God Himself taught Adam knowledge
Quran
2:31 informs us that Adam
was taught all the names. The angels were not granted such extensive knowledge,
and hence when God presented Adam to the angels and tested their knowledge, the
angels expressed their ignorance (Quran 2:32). Quran 2:33 informs us that Adam was
able to pass the knowledge test, and then quotes Allah as telling the angels: "Did
not I say to you, Indeed, I [I] know (the) unseen (of) the heavens and the
earth, and I know what you reveal and what you [were] conceal."
Covenant of Adam
Quran
20:115 informs us that ‘And
verily We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot; and not We found in
him determination.’
Adam honoured above
the Angels
Quran
2:34, 7:11, 20:116 and other verses inform
us that the angels were ordered to prostrate/submit to Adam and they all did,
except Iblis. Quran 7:12 informs us that Iblis
refused on the grounds that he considered himself a superior creation as compared to Adam.
Iblis given Respite
Quran 17:62 quotes Iblis thus: He said, "Do You see this whom You have honored, above me? If You give me respite till (the) Day (of) the Resurrection, I will surely destroy his offspring except a few."
Iblis takes an Oath by God
Quran 38:82 informs us that Iblis has sworn by the might of God to mislead us all:
God knows the Wrongdoers

Quran 38:82 informs us that Iblis has sworn by the might of God to mislead us all:

God knows the Wrongdoers
Before even asking the angels to prostrate/submit to Adam, Quran 2:33 quotes Allah as telling the angels: "Did not I say to you, Indeed, I [I] know (the) unseen (of) the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you [were] conceal."
Quran 18:50 reminds of the event of Iblis' refusal to obey God, and 18:51 informs us that God already knew him to be one of the wrongdoers:
And when We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam," so they prostrated except Iblis. (He) was of the jinn, and he rebelled against the Command (of) his Lord. Will you then take him and his offspring (as) protectors other than Me, while they (are) to you enemies? Wretched for the wrongdoers (is) the exchange. Not I made them witness the creation (of) the heavens and the earth and not the creation (of) themselves and not I Am the One to take the misleaders (as) helper(s).

The Warnings
Quran
20:117 informs us that
Adam was warned that this (Iblis) is an enemy to you and your wife. So, do not
let him get you out of the Garden, so that you’re landed in misery.
Quran
2:35 informs us that Adam
was also warned: … But do not [you two] approach this [the] tree, lest you
[both] be of the wrongdoers."
Quran
20:123 informs us that, at
the time of their expulsion from the Garden to the earth, Adam and his wife are
yet again warned of the enmity between humans and Satan, but that whoever
follows God’s guidance will not lose his way or fall into misery. The
subsequent verses of Chapter 20 expand upon the result of not heeding to God’s
message.
Quran
7:27 warns us (ya
bani Adam) to not let Satan seduce us in the same manner as he got our parents out of the Garden …
Satan’s Plan
The
Quran, and prior scriptures, contain warnings about the Satan(s) and their
relentless enmity for the progeny of Adam. We are forewarned about their objective
to destroy us. The scriptures also detail the dos and don’ts to help us succeed
in the trial of this temporal life.
Quran 7:12 informs us of the reason for Iblis' arrogance: (Allah) said, "What prevented you that not you prostrate when I commanded you?" (Shaitaan) said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and You created him from clay."
Quran 7:12 informs us of the reason for Iblis' arrogance: (Allah) said, "What prevented you that not you prostrate when I commanded you?" (Shaitaan) said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and You created him from clay."
Quran
17:61 - 17:66 quotes Iblis vowing that
‘I will surely destroy his descendants, except for a few’. Granting Iblis
respite till the Day of Resurrection, he is given permission to: ‘Go, for
whoever of them follows you, indeed Hell will be the recompense of you - an
ample recompense. And incite [to senselessness] whoever you can among them with
your voice and assault them with your horses and foot soldiers and become a
partner in their wealth and their children and promise them.’
Modern
scientific research points to the origin of RNA in clay. Advances in Genetic
Engineering are opening new avenues for alterations in and modification of the
‘code of life’.
Experiments
in cloning and cross-breeding have been going on since the past many
years. Liger, tigon, and other hybrid
creatures are evidence of the ongoing experimentation. Spider silk was being obtained
from genetically modified goat’s milk, and so on.
The
following verses reveal Satan plans to corrupt creation by means of cloning and
cross-breeding:
Quran
4:117 – 4:121 inform us that the
rebellious Satan, when cursed by God, swore to take a portion of humans and said
that:
‘…
And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will
command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so
they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an
ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss. …’
[Note:
Though samples for cloning can be taken from anywhere, the most convenient and
popular method is to take sample from the ear.]
Time
and again Satan has promised humans that creation can be improved upon. Transhumanism, Posthuman and eventually Posthumanism represents the death of the
humanist subject!
Tampering
with the Creation of the Master Creator can only result in corruption
of creation. Hence, the directive: …No change should
there be in the creation of Allah… [Quran 30:30]
Quran
34:20, 34:21 And certainly, found true about them Iblis his
assumption, so they followed him except a group of the believers. And not was
for him over them any authority except that We (might) make evident who
believes in the Hereafter from (one) who [he] about it (is) in doubt. And your
Lord over all things (is) a Guardian.

Sura4:119, I understand that ,as not only cloning, but genetic engineering of plants, fruits, changing the genetics of fish, animals etc.,it is just a Satanic plan to change the fair nature of Allah's creation,as the claims of genetic engineering are false .as it does not make improvements, but destroys the original nature of things, with very destructive long term effects.
ReplyDeleteExperiments carried on mice eating genetically modified food resulted in disease, weakness and early death.
The harsh reality is that any fruits or vegetables genetically modified with fish, animal or human cells or DNA,cannot be plant foods again as that was not the way Allah created them.
Quran 30:30 clearly states that there should be no change in the creation of Allah!
DeleteAs foretold by the scriptures, we are heading back towards the corruptions which warranted the destruction of mighty civilisations in the past. Their narrations contain grave lessons for us. We need to inform people about what the Quran and prior scriptures are warning us about. We are on the verge of leap-frogging into our own destruction!
