لَّقَدْ كَانَ فِي يُوسُفَ وَإِخْوَتِهِ آيَاتٌ لِّلسَّائِلِينَ
Certainly were in Yusuf and his brothers signs for those who ask.
[Al-Quran 12:7]
Jacob and Joseph trusted Allah, and repelled evil with what is better. In spite with all the plots and plans conspired against them, they trusted Allah and kept their taqwa. There is no sad ending for those who trust Allah. The Hour is approaching, when we will be gathered together and recompensed. Surah Yusuf contains the second of the three ayaat defining The Deen:
