Earth Rise

 on the Day of Qiyamah

39:67

وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦ وَٱلْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًۭا قَبْضَتُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ مَطْوِيَّـٰتٌۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ٦٧

They have not shown Allah His proper reverence—when on the Day of Judgment the ˹whole˺ earth will be in His Grip, and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified and Exalted is He above what they associate ˹with Him˺!

They have not appraised Allāh with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

— Saheeh International

They did not hold Allah in His true esteem. The whole earth will be in a single grip of His hand on the Day of Doom, and the heavens (will be) rolled up on his right hand. Pure is He, far too higher than what they associate with Him.

اور انہوں نے اللہ کی قدر نہیں کی جیسے کہ اس کی قدر کا حق تھا اور زمین پوری کی پوری اس کی مٹھی میں ہوگی قیامت کے دن اور آسمان اس کے داہنے ہاتھ میں لپٹے ہوئے ہوں گے وہ پاک ہے اور بہت بلند وبالا اس تمام شرک سے جو یہ لوگ کر رہے ہیں

39:68

وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِيهِ أُخْرَىٰ فَإِذَا هُمْ قِيَامٌۭ يَنظُرُونَ ٦٨

The Trumpet will be blown and all those in the heavens and all those on the earth will fall dead, except those Allah wills ˹to spare˺. Then it will be blown again and they will rise up at once, looking on ˹in anticipation˺.

And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allāh wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.

And Horn (Sūr ) will be blown, and all those in the heavens and all those in the earth will faint, except the one whom Allah wills (otherwise). Thereafter, it will be blown once again, and suddenly they will stand up, looking around.

اور صور میں پھونکا جائے گا تو بےہوش ہوجائیں گے جو کوئی بھی ہیں آسمانوں میں اور زمین میں سوائے ان کے جنہیں اللہ چاہے گا پھر اس (صور) میں دوبارہ پھونکا جائے گا تو اچانک وہ سب کے سب کھڑے ہوجائیں گے دیکھتے ہوئے

39:69

وَأَشْرَقَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ وَجِا۟ىٓءَ بِٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ ٦٩

The earth will shine with the light of its Lord, the record ˹of deeds˺ will be laid ˹open˺, the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward—and judgment will be passed on all with fairness. None will be wronged.

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.

And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the book (of everyone’s deeds) will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and matters will be decided between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.

اور زمین جگمگا اٹھے گی اپنے رب کے نور سے اور اعمال نامہ لا کر رکھ دیا جائے گا اور لائے جائیں گے انبیاء اور شہید اور ان کے مابین فیصلہ کردیا جائے گا حق کے ساتھ اور ان پر کوئی ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا

[Al-Quran, Surah azZumar, ayaat 67-69]

We humans do not realise how magnificent Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ is. Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ is our True Lord. Since we cannot see him in our fallen state, we assume that sunlight is all the light that there is. It is actually Allah who is the Lord-Sustainer of His entire creation.  On the Day of Qiyamah (standing) before our Lord-Sustainer, when the Sun and Moon are no longer there, the Earth will shine in the Nur of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ . 

In Surah alHajj, an example of the inherent weakness of creation is presented:

22:73

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌۭ فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَن يَخْلُقُوا۟ ذُبَابًۭا وَلَوِ ٱجْتَمَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ ۖ وَإِن يَسْلُبْهُمُ ٱلذُّبَابُ شَيْـًۭٔا لَّا يَسْتَنقِذُوهُ مِنْهُ ۚ ضَعُفَ ٱلطَّالِبُ وَٱلْمَطْلُوبُ ٧٣

O humanity! A lesson is set forth, so listen to it ˹carefully˺: those ˹idols˺ you invoke besides Allah can never create ˹so much as˺ a fly, even if they ˹all˺ were to come together for that. And if a fly were to snatch anything away from them, they cannot ˹even˺ retrieve it from the fly. How powerless are those who invoke and those invoked![1]

[1] Another possible translation: “How weak are the seekers (i.e., the idols) and the sought (i.e., the fly)!”

O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allāh will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for it [i.e., that purpose]. And if the fly should steal from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued.[1]

[1]A comparison is made here to the worshipper of a false deity and that which he worships.

لوگو! ایک مثال بیان کی جاتی ہے اسے غور سے سنو۔ کہ جن لوگوں کو تم خدا کے سوا پکارتے ہو وہ ایک مکھی بھی نہیں بنا سکتے اگرچہ اس کے لئے سب مجتمع ہوجائیں۔ اور اگر ان سے مکھی کوئی چیز لے جائے تو اسے اس سے چھڑا نہیں سکتے۔ طالب اور مطلوب (یعنی عابد اور معبود دونوں) گئے گزرے ہیں

اے لوگو ! ایک مثال بیان کی جاتی ہے پس اسے ذرا توجہّ سے سنو یقیناً (تمہارے وہ معبود) جنہیں تم اللہ کے سوا پکارتے ہو ایک مکھی بھی تخلیق نہیں کرسکتے اگرچہ وہ سب اس کے لیے اکٹھے ہوجائیں اور اگر مکھی ان سے کوئی چیز چھین لے جائے تو یہ اس سے وہ چیز چھڑا نہیں سکتے کس قدر کمزور ہے طالب بھی اور مطلوب بھی

The false deities that people take to worship, assuming them to be capable, they can not even create a tiny creature as a fly. Moreover, they are so weak and so incapable that even if they were to combine their abilities, yet they would not be able to create anything. And if the fly were to take anything from them, they wouldn't be able to take it back. 

Surah alHajj then emphasises that we have not yet realised the greatness of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى :

22:73

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌۭ فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَن يَخْلُقُوا۟ ذُبَابًۭا وَلَوِ ٱجْتَمَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ ۖ وَإِن يَسْلُبْهُمُ ٱلذُّبَابُ شَيْـًۭٔا لَّا يَسْتَنقِذُوهُ مِنْهُ ۚ ضَعُفَ ٱلطَّالِبُ وَٱلْمَطْلُوبُ ٧٣

22:74

مَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَقَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ ٧٤

They have not shown Allah the reverence He deserves. Surely Allah is All-Powerful, Almighty.

They have not appraised Allāh with true appraisal.[1] Indeed, Allāh is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

[1]They have not assessed Him with the assessment due to Him, meaning that they did not take into account His perfect attributes.

ان لوگوں نے خدا کی قدر جیسی کرنی چاہیئے تھی نہیں کی۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ خدا زبردست اور غالب ہے

انہوں نے اللہ کی قدر نہ کی جیسا کہ اس کی قدر کا حق تھا یقیناً اللہ بہت طاقت والا سب پر غالب ہے

22:75

ٱللَّهُ يَصْطَفِى مِنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌۭ ٧٥

Allah selects messengers from both angels and people, for Allah is truly All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

Allāh chooses from the angels messengers and from the people. Indeed, Allāh is Hearing and Seeing.

خدا فرشتوں میں سے پیغام پہنچانے والے منتخب کرلیتا ہے اور انسانوں میں سے بھی۔ بےشک خدا سننے والا (اور) دیکھنے والا ہے

اللہُ چن لیتا ہے اپنے پیغامبر فرشتوں میں سے بھی اور انسانوں میں سے بھی یقینا اللہ سب کچھ سننے و الا دیکھنے والا ہے

22:76

يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ ٧٦

He knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them. And to Allah ˹all˺ matters will be returned ˹for judgment˺.

He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them.[1] And to Allāh will be returned [all] matters.

جو ان کے آگے ہے اور جن ان کے پیچھے ہے وہ اس سے واقف ہے۔ اور سب کاموں کا رجوع خدا ہی کی طرف ہے

22:77

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ وَٱسْجُدُوا۟ وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ وَٱفْعَلُوا۟ ٱلْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ۩ ٧٧

O believers! Bow down, prostrate yourselves, worship your Lord, and do ˹what is˺ good so that you may be successful.

O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed.

— Saheeh International

مومنو! رکوع کرتے اور سجدے کرتے اور اپنے پروردگار کی عبادت کرتے رہو اور نیک کام کرو تاکہ فلاح پاؤ

— Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اے ایمان کے دعوے دارو ! جھک جاؤ اور سر بسجود ہوجاؤ اور اپنے رب کی بندگی کرو اور نیک کام کرو تاکہ تم فلاح پاؤ

22:78

وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ فِى ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِۦ ۚ هُوَ ٱجْتَبَىٰكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍۢ ۚ مِّلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚ هُوَ سَمَّىٰكُمُ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ مِن قَبْلُ وَفِى هَـٰذَا لِيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ ۚ فَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ هُوَ مَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖ فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ ٱلنَّصِيرُ ٧٨

Strive for ˹the cause of˺ Allah in the way He deserves, for ˹it is˺ He ˹Who˺ has chosen you, and laid upon you no hardship in the religion—the way of your forefather Abraham. ˹It is Allah˺ Who named you ‘the ones who submit’[1] ˹in the˺ earlier ˹Scriptures˺ and in this ˹Quran˺, so that the Messenger may be a witness over you, and that you may be witnesses over humanity. So establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and hold fast to Allah. He ˹alone˺ is your Guardian. What an excellent Guardian, and what an excellent Helper!

And strive for Allāh with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. He [i.e., Allāh] named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakāh and hold fast to Allāh. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.

اور خدا (کی راہ) میں جہاد کرو جیسا جہاد کرنے کا حق ہے۔ اس نے تم کو برگزیدہ کیا ہے اور تم پر دین کی (کسی بات) میں تنگی نہیں کی۔ (اور تمہارے لئے) تمہارے باپ ابراہیم کا دین (پسند کیا) اُسی نے پہلے (یعنی پہلی کتابوں میں) تمہارا نام مسلمان رکھا تھا اور اس کتاب میں بھی (وہی نام رکھا ہے تو جہاد کرو) تاکہ پیغمبر تمہارے بارے میں شاہد ہوں۔ اور تم لوگوں کے مقابلے میں شاہد اور نماز پڑھو اور زکوٰة دو اور خدا کے دین کی (رسی کو) پکڑے رہو۔ وہی تمہارا دوست ہے۔ اور خوب دوست اور خوب مددگار ہے

اور جہاد کرو اللہ کے لیے جیسا کہ اس کے لیے جہاد کا حق ہے اس نے تمہیں چن لیا ہے اور دین کے معاملے میں تم پر کوئی تنگی نہیں رکھی تمہارے جدّ امجد ابراہیم ؑ کی ملت اسی نے تمہارا نام مسلم رکھا ہے اس سے پہلے بھی (تمہارا یہی نام تھا) اور اس (کتاب) میں بھی ہے تاکہ پیغمبر تم پر گواہ ہو اور تم لوگوں پر گواہ ہو پس نماز قائم کرو اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرو اور اللہ کے ساتھ چمٹ جاؤ وہ تمہارا مولیٰ ہے تو کیا ہی اچھا ہے وہ مولیٰ اور کیا ہی اچھا ہے مددگار

[Al-Quran, Surah alHajj, ayaat 73-78]

Allah has named us Muslims. Like Abraham (Ibrahim عليه السلام) who was chosen, tried and tested, and blessed, so we must also take his example and strive to serve our True Creator and Lord-Sustainer with the striving He deserves. 

Generally, most things appear twice in The Quran. In Surah alAn'am, we again find an exhortation of realising the greatness of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى : 

6:91

وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٍۢ مِّن شَىْءٍۢ ۗ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورًۭا وَهُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًۭا ۖ وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِى خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ ٩١

And they[1] have not shown Allah His proper reverence when they said, “Allah has revealed nothing to any human being.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Who then revealed the Book brought forth by Moses as a light and guidance for people, which you split into separate sheets—revealing some and hiding much? You have been taught ˹through this Quran˺ what neither you nor your forefathers knew.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Allah ˹revealed it˺!” Then leave them to amuse themselves with falsehood.

[1] Some Jews.

And they did not appraise Allāh with true appraisal[1] when they said, "Allāh did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you[2] were taught that which you knew not - neither you nor your fathers." Say, "Allāh [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.

[1]The Jews, or it may refer to the believers, who are taught by the Qur’ān.

[2]i.e., they did not appreciate the extent of His ability and wisdom.

اور ان لوگوں نے خدا کی قدر جیسی جاننی چاہیئے تھی نہ جانی۔ جب انہوں نے کہا کہ خدا نے انسان پر (وحی اور کتاب وغیرہ) کچھ بھی نازل نہیں کیا۔ کہو جو کتاب موسیٰ لے کر آئے تھے اسے کس نے نازل کیا تھا جو لوگوں کے لئے نور اور ہدایت تھی اور جسے تم نے علیحدہ علیحدہ اوراق (پر نقل) کر رکھا ہے ان (کے کچھ حصے) کو تو ظاہر کرتے ہو اور اکثر کو چھپاتے ہو۔ اور تم کو وہ باتیں سکھائی گئیں جن کو نہ تم جانتے تھے اور نہ تمہارے باپ دادا۔ کہہ دو (اس کتاب کو) خدا ہی نے (نازل کیا تھا) پھر ان کو چھوڑ دیا کہ اپنی بیہودہ بکواس میں کھیلتے رہیں

اور انھوں نے اللہ کا بہت غلط اندازہ لگایا جب انھوں نے کہاکہ اللہ نے کسی انسان پر کوئی چیز نہیں اتاری کہو کہ وہ کتاب کس نے اتاری تھی جس کو لے کر موسیٰ آئے تھے، وہ روشن تھی اور رہنمائی تھی لوگوں کے واسطے، جس کو تم نے ورق ورق کر رکھا ہے کچھ کو ظاہر کرتے ہو اور بہت کچھ چھپا جاتے ہو اور تم کو وہ باتیں سکھائیں جن کو نہ جانتے تھے تم اور نہ تمھارے باپ دادا کہو کہ اللہ نے اتاری پھر ان کو چھوڑ دو کہ اپنی کج بحثیوں میں کھیلتے رہیں

6:92

وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مُبَارَكٌۭ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ ٩٢

This is a blessed Book which We have revealed—confirming what came before it—so you may warn the Mother of Cities[1] and everyone around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter ˹truly˺ believe in it and guard their prayers.

[1] “The Mother of Cities” is an honorary title given to the city of Mecca because of its great religious significance as the home of Allah’s first house of worship ever built on earth, and perhaps because of its central location as well.

And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities [i.e., Makkah] and those around it.[1] Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.

اور (ویسی ہی) یہ کتاب ہے جسے ہم نے نازل کیا ہے بابرکت جو اپنے سے پہلی (کتابوں) کی تصدیق کرتی ہے اور (جو) اس لئے (نازل کی گئی ہے) کہ تم مکے اور اس کے آس پاس کے لوگوں کو آگاہ کردو۔ اور جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہ اس کتاب پر بھی ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور وہ اپنی نمازوں کی پوری خبر رکھتے ہیں

اور یہ ایک کتاب ہے جو ہم نے اتاری ہے، برکت والی ہے، تصدیق کرنے والی ان کي جو اس سے پہلے ہیں  اور تاکہ توڈرائے مکہ والوں کو اور اس کے آس پاس والوں کو اور جو آخرت پر یقین رکھتے ہیں ، وہی اس پر ایمان لائیں گے اور وہ اپنی نماز کی حفاظت کرنے والے ہیں

6:93

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَىْءٌۭ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ فِى غَمَرَٰتِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ بَاسِطُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمُ ۖ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ ٱلْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَيْرَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ٩٣

Who does more wrong than the one who fabricates lies against Allah or claims, “I have received revelations!”—although nothing was revealed to them—or the one who says, “I can reveal the like of Allah’s revelations!”? If you ˹O Prophet˺ could only see the wrongdoers in the throes of death while the angels are stretching out their hands ˹saying˺, “Give up your souls! Today you will be rewarded with the torment of disgrace for telling lies about Allah and for being arrogant towards His revelations!”

And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allāh or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allāh revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands,[1] [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allāh other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."

[1]Striking them, as they are unwilling to give up their souls for judgement.

اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو خدا پر جھوٹ افتراء کرے۔ یا یہ کہے کہ مجھ پر وحی آئی ہے حالانکہ اس پر کچھ بھی وحی نہ آئی ہو اور جو یہ کہے کہ جس طرح کی کتاب خدا نے نازل کی ہے اس طرح کی میں بھی بنا لیتا ہوں۔ اور کاش تم ان ظالم (یعنی مشرک) لوگوں کو اس وقت دیکھو جب موت کی سختیوں میں (مبتلا) ہوں اور فرشتے (ان کی طرف عذاب کے لئے) ہاتھ بڑھا رہے ہوں کہ نکالو اپنی جانیں۔ آج تم کو ذلت کے عذاب کی سزا دی جائے گی اس لئے کہ تم خدا پر جھوٹ بولا کرتے تھے اور اس کی آیتوں سے سرکشی کرتے تھے

اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ پر جھوٹی تہمت باندھے یا کہے کہ مجھ پر وحی آئی ہے، حالاں کہ اس پر کوئی وحی نازل نہ کی گئی ہو اور کہے کہ جیسا کلام خدا نے اتارا ہے میں بھی اتاروں گا اور کاش تم اس وقت دیکھو جب کہ یہ ظالم موت کی سختیوں میں ہوں گے اور فرشتے ہاتھ بڑھا رہے ہوں گے کہ لاؤ اپنی جانیں نکالو آج تم کو ذلت کا عذاب دیا جائے گا اس سبب سے کہ تم اللہ پر جھوٹی باتیں کہتے تھے اور تم اللہ کی نشانیوں سے تکبر کرتے تھے

6:94

وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَٰدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ وَتَرَكْتُم مَّا خَوَّلْنَـٰكُمْ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ ٩٤

˹Today˺ you have come back to Us all alone as We created you the first time—leaving behind everything We have provided you with. We do not see your intercessors with you—those you claimed were Allah’s partners ˹in worship˺. All your ties have been broken and all your claims have let you down.

[It will be said to them], "And you have certainly come to Us alone [i.e., individually] as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you. And We do not see with you your 'intercessors' which you claimed that they were among you associates [of Allāh]. It has [all] been severed between you,[1] and lost from you is what you used to claim."

[1]Between yourselves and the claimed associates and intercessors.

اور جیسا ہم نے تم کو پہلی دفعہ پیدا کیا تھا ایسا ہی آج اکیلے اکیلے ہمارے پاس آئے اور جو (مال ومتاع) ہم نے تمہیں عطا فرمایا تھا وہ سب اپنی پیٹھ پیچھے چھوڑ آئے اور ہم تمہارے ساتھ تمہارے سفارشیوں کو بھی نہیں دیکھتے جن کی نسبت تم خیال کرتے تھے کہ وہ تمہارے (شفیع اور ہمارے) شریک ہیں۔ (آج) تمہارے آپس کے سب تعلقات منقطع ہوگئے اور جو دعوے تم کیا کرتے تھے سب جاتے رہے

اور تم ہمارے پاس اکیلے اکیلے آگئے جیسا کہ ہم نے تم کو پہلی مرتبہ پیدا کیا تھا اور جو کچھ اسباب ہم نے تم کو دیا تھا سب تم پیچھے چھوڑ آئے اور ہم تمھارے ساتھ ان سفارش والوں کو بھی نہیں دیکھتے جن کے متعلق تم سمجھتے تھے کہ تمھارا کام بنانے میں ان کا بھی حصہ ہے تمھارا رشتہ ٹوٹ گیا اور تم سے جاتے رہے وہ دعوے جو تم کرتے تھے

6:95

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَالِقُ ٱلْحَبِّ وَٱلنَّوَىٰ ۖ يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتِ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ ٩٥

Indeed, Allah is the One Who causes seeds and fruit stones to sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. That is Allah! How can you then be deluded ˹from the truth˺?

Indeed, Allāh is the cleaver of grain and date seeds.[1] He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allāh; so how are you deluded?

[1]He (subḥānahu wa taʿālā) causes them to split and sprout.

بے شک خدا ہی دانے اور گٹھلی کو پھاڑ کر (ان سے درخت وغیرہ) اگاتا ہے وہی جاندار کو بے جان سے نکالتا ہے اور وہی بےجان کا جاندار سے نکالنے والا ہے۔ یہی تو خدا ہے۔ پھر تم کہاں بہکے پھرتے ہو

بے شک اللہ دانے اور گٹھلی کو پھاڑنے والا ہے وہ جان دار کو بے جان سے نکالتا ہے اور وہی بے جان کو جان دار سے نکالنے والا ہے وہی تمھارا اللہ ہے، پھر تم کدھر بہکے چلے جارہے رہو
