[Al-Quran 50:6-8] Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and how it has no rifts? And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah].

The All-Encompassing Nur of Allah

...

Say, "He (is) Allah, the One.

Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute.

Not He begets and not He is begotten.

And not is for Him equivalent any [one]."

[Al-Quran 112]

Allah is One, Only, Unique, and He is the Nur of the skies and earth:

The Quran describes Allah as the Nur of the Skies and Earth. It also informs us that Allah grants Nur to whom He wills, and guides to His Nur whom He wills.

The Quran also informs us that through disobedience to Allah, deceived by Satan, Adam and his wife lost their 'nur' and put their nafs in 'zulm' (darkness).

The Quran informs us that on the Day of Judgement, the successful believers will have their 'nur' shining, lighting their path, in front and  on their right, as they embark on their journey towards the Gardens promised to them in the Hereafter.

If 'nur' is a special kind of radiation, the highest kind, then we can take the example of gamma radiation, the highest known level of the electromagnetic spectrum, as an example to help us understand how:
    Allah can see everything
the nafs receives nur, and reflects it, and
it is invisible to our naked eye, yet it exists and fluctuates in intensity as well.

The Quran informs us that the sign of the night has been made obscure. It also informs us that the moon is made/ appointed (جَعَلَ) a 'nur'. When the moon is observed in gamma radiation, the moon is actually brighter than even the sun. It receives and reflects gamma radiation. Also, we can even note that the gamma radiation from the sun is very less, and very infrequent. Naturally, scientists try to describe gamma radiation according to their own knowledge base and inferences. However, The Quran is quite clear that Allah grants 'nur' to whom He wills.

Fermi Sees the Moon in Gamma Rays

It is theorised that if anyone has Gamma vision, that person would be able to see everything, and nothing would be hidden. Now, if scientists can detect gamma rays with their devices, imagine how the 'nur' of the believers would be on the Day of Judgement. The Quran informs us that the believers would pray that day for the perfection/ completion of that light.

Allah's Nur is perfect and complete. Allah is the source of the Nur of the skies and earth. Allah can see everything, everywhere, always. Nothing is hidden from Him.
