Abstract
According to the verses of the Quran: the Arab Prophet-Messenger Muhammad, born and raised in the Arab major city of Makkah, speaking the native Arab language, and warning with a scripture revealed in Arabic, all together seem to be pointing to a major prophecy for the Middle East: the battle between the believers in the one true God and the followers of Satan, and the eventual triumph of Truth.

For every news (is) a fixed time, and soon you
will know.
[Al-Quran 6:67, Translation: Literal
(word-by-word)]
Muhammad
was the Messenger of Allah and
the seal of the Prophets. He has conveyed the Great News 'naba-e-azeem'. No
other prophet is expected after him. His message of Islam is for all humanity (Q6:19, Q25:1, Q34:28, Q48:28).
Not is said to you except what was said to the Messengers before you.
Indeed, your Lord (is) Possessor (of) forgiveness, and Possessor (of) penalty painful.
Indeed, your Lord (is) Possessor (of) forgiveness, and Possessor (of) penalty painful.
And if We (had) made it a Quran (in) a foreign (language), they (would have) said, "Why not are explained in detail its verses? (Is it) a foreign (language) and an Arab?" Say, "It (is) for those who believe, a guidance and a healing." And those who (do) not believe, in their ears (is) deafness, and it (is) for them blindness. Those are being called from a place far."
And certainly, We gave Musa the Book, but disputes arose therein. And had it not been (for) a word (that) preceded from your Lord, surely, would have been settled between them.
But indeed, they surely (are) in doubt about it disquieting.
But indeed, they surely (are) in doubt about it disquieting.
A
Messenger (Rasool) of Allah comes with the decision of Allah and then the
decision is executed. Muhammad warned for two decades, treaty was declared
annulled and a notice of war was given four months in advance (Q9:1-3), and
eventually Makkah was secured without any major resistance or bloodshed.
As I
continue to study the mission of the messengers mentioned in the Quran, World History according to the Quran and its Future Implications, I'm getting more
and more convinced that the Quran is pointing to a major battle in the Middle
East between the believers in the one true God and the followers of Satan, after the
appearance of the Creature from the Earth.
Jesus
(Masih Isa, the Rasool Allah) is expected to return and implement Allah's
decision that the Quran is warning us about. If and when the battle between Truth
(haqq) and Falsehood (baatil) is fought, it will be critical to have the
ability to recognise and side with the Truth (haqq).
The Quran repeatedly exhorts spending (infaq, zakat, sadaqah) and declares a war by Allah and His Messenger against those who consume usury (riba). The Torah and The Gospels also condemn usury.

According
to the Quran 4:159, all
People of the Book will believe in Jesus before Jesus’ death. I take People of
the Book in that future context to include all those who have a revealed
scripture, including the ummat of Prophet Mohammad. I think there are Believers
(momins), Hypocrites (munafiqs) and Non-Believers/Those who Reject (kaafirs) in
all sects and religions. Irrespective of what religion or sectarian group we
are part of, what will matter is our faith, our truthfulness and our submission
to guidance when we are put to the test.
First House of
Worship
[Al-Quran 3:96-97, Translation: Pickthall] Indeed,
(the) First
House set up for the mankind (is) the one which (is) at Bakkah,
blessed and a guidance for the worlds. Wherein are plain memorials (of Allah's
guidance); the place where Abraham stood up to pray; and whosoever entereth it
is safe. And pilgrimage to the House is a duty unto Allah for mankind, for him
who can find a way thither. As for him who disbelieveth, (let him know that)
lo! Allah is Independent of (all) creatures.
The Quran
2:124-132
recounts the raising of the foundation of the House by Abraham and Ishmael, and their prayer to
raise a Messenger (Rasool) from amongst the people of the city. The chapter
goes on to mention the Qibla as a symbol of unity, and Safa and Marwa as among
the symbols of Allah.
Messenger of their
Own
[Al-Quran 2:151, Translation: Shakir]
Even as We have sent among you a
Messenger from among you who recites to you Our communications and
purifies you and teaches you the Book and the wisdom and teaches you that which
you did not know.
[Al-Quran 62:2, Translation: Shakir]
He it is Who raised among the inhabitants of Mecca an Messenger from among
themselves, who recites to them His communications and purifies them,
and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, although they were before certainly
in clear error,
*The Arabic word al-ommiyyeena is
variously translated as unlettered or inhabitants of the Mother of Cities/Makkah.
I think the latter translation is more correct, as Makkah (former name Bakkah)
is where the First House of Worship was established; and also because the Arabs
were noted for their literary excellence at the time of the revelation of the
Quran, and therefore they were not unlettered. However, it can be argued that
they were still unlettered in the sense that they did not have a revealed
scripture to guide them. And Allah knows best.
Warnings for Middle
East (Mother of the Cities & the Region)
[Al-Quran 6:91-92, Translation: Literal
(word-by-word)] And (did) not they
appraise Allah (with) His true appraisal, when they said, "Allah did not
reveal on a human being [of] anything." Say, "Who revealed
the Book which brought [it] Musa (as) a light and guidance for the people? You
make it (into) parchments, you disclose (some of) it and you conceal much (of
it). And you were taught what not you knew and not your forefathers." Say,
"Allah (revealed it)." Then leave them in their discourse - playing. And this (is) a Book, We have revealed
it, blessed, confirming which (came) before it, so that you may warn (the) mother (of) the cities and who (are) around it.
And those who believe in the Hereafter, they believe in it, and they, over
their prayers (are) guarding.
...
[Al-Quran 6:157-158 Translation: Literal (word-by-word)] or you say, "If [that] was revealed to us the Book surely we (would) have been better guided than them. So verily has come to you clear proofs from your Lord and a Guidance and a Mercy. Then who (is) more unjust than (he) who denies [with] (the) Verses (of) Allah, and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our Signs (with) an evil punishment because they used to turn away. Are they waiting except that comes to them the Angels or comes your Lord or comes some (of) (the) Signs (of) your Lord? (The) Day (when) comes some (of) (the) Signs (of) your Lord, not will benefit a soul its faith, (if) it had not believed before or earned through its faith any good. Say, "Wait. Indeed, we (are) those who wait."

[Al-Quran 19:97, Translation:
Literal (word-by-word)] So, only We (have) made
it easy in your tongue, that you may give glad tidings with it (to) the
righteous and warn with it a people hostile.
[Al-Quran 28:57-59, Translation: Literal
(word-by-word)] And they say, "If we follow the guidance with you, we
would be swept from our land." Have
not We established for them a sanctuary secure, are brought to it fruits (of)
all things, a provision from Us? But most of them (do) not know. And
how many We have destroyed of a town which exulted, (in) its means of
livelihood. And these (are) their dwellings not have been inhabited after them
except a little. And indeed, [We] We (are) the inheritors. And not was your Lord (the) one to destroy the towns until He (had) sent in their mother (town) a Messenger
reciting to them Our Verses. And not We would be (the) one to destroy
the towns except while their people (were) wrongdoers.
[Al-Quran 29:67, Translation:
Literal (word-by-word)] Have they not seen that We have appointed a sanctuary immune (from
violence), while mankind are ravaged all
around them? Do they then believe in falsehood and disbelieve in
the bounty of Allah?
[Al-Quran 42:7, Translation:
Literal (word-by-word)] And thus We
have revealed to you a Quran (in) Arabic, that you may warn
(the) mother (of) the towns, and whoever (is) around it, and warn (of
the) Day (of) Assembly, (there is) no doubt in it. A party (will be) in
Paradise and a party in the Blazing Fire.

Creature of the
Earth
Among
the events yet to happen is:
[Al-Quran 27:82, Translation:
Literal (word-by-word)] And when (is)
fulfilled the word against them, We will bring forth for them a creature
from the earth speaking to them, that the people were, of Our Signs, not certain.
As discussed in the first post of the series Mission of the Messengers: World History & Future Implications, in Quran 71:27, Noah worries that if God spares any one of the corrupters, they will beget a disbelieving, wicked child.
Muslims await the coming of Dajjal, and Christians await the coming of the Anti-Christ. Will the ‘beast/creature from the earth’ mentioned in Quran 27:82 be a hybrid creature who is the result of cross-breeding? Does the ‘beast’ refer to Dajjal, who is mentioned in non-Quranic sources?

The Battle
[Al-Quran 2:278-279, Translation: Literal (word-by-word)] O you who believe[d]! Consciously revere Allah and give up what remained of [the] usury, if you are believers. And if not you do, then be informed of a war from Allah and His Messenger. And if you repent then for you (is) your capital - (do) not wrong and not you will be wronged.
[Al-Quran 48:16, Translation: Literal (word-by-word)] Say to those who remained of the Bedouins, "You will be called to a people, possessors of military might great; you will fight them, or they will submit. Then if you obey, Allah will give you a reward good; but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you (with) a punishment painful."

Then if you obey, Allah will give you a reward good; but if you turn away as you turned away before, He will punish you (with) a punishment painful."
The Warning
[Al-Quran 41:13, Translation: Literal (word-by-word)] But if they turn away, then say, "I have warned you (of) a thunderbolt like (the) thunderbolt (of) Aad and Thamud."
Allah’s Help &
Victory
[Al-Quran 30:47, Translation:
Literal (word-by-word)] And verily, We sent before you Messengers to their
people, and they came to them with clear proofs; then We took retribution from those who
committed crimes. And it was incumbent upon Us (to) help the
believers.
[Al-Quran 54:43-45, Translation: Literal (word-by-word)] Are your disbelievers, better than those, or for you (is) an exemption in the Scriptures? Or (do) they say, "We (are) an assembly helping (each other)?" Soon will be defeated (their) assembly, and they will turn (their) backs.

[Al-Quran 110:1-3, Translation: Literal
(word-by-word)] When comes (the) Help (of) Allah and the Victory,
And you see the people entering into (the) religion (of) Allah (in) multitudes.
Then glorify with (the) praises (of) your Lord and ask His forgiveness. Indeed,
He is Oft-Returning.
Fixed Time
[Al-Quran 15:4-5, Translation: Literal (word-by-word)] And not We destroyed any town but (there was) for it a decree known. Not (can) advance any nation its term and not (can) delay it.
[Al-Quran 32:28-29, Translation: Literal (word-by-word)] And they say, "When (will be) this decision, if you are truthful?" Say, "(On the) Day (of) the Decision, not will benefit those who disbelieve their belief and not they will be granted respite."
Note: In Q110:1 and Q32:28-29, the Arabic word used is الْفَتْحُ translated as victory in Q110 and decision in Q32.
Days of Allah
The
Quran and Bible also speak of the Days of
Allah:
[Al-Quran 14:5]
And verily We sent Musa with Our Signs, that
"Bring out your people from the darkness[es] to the light. And remind them of the days
(of) Allah." Indeed, in that surely (are) the signs for everyone patient
and thankful.
The Hour and The
Day of Resurrection
The Quran mentions the Hour [السَّاعَةَ ] and it mentions the Day of
Resurrection [الْقِيَامَةِ
]. Jesus is the knowledge of the Hour. Among
the signs
of the Day is when the Sun and Moon will be joined together.
[Al-Quran 30:11-19, translator: Yusuf Ali] It is God Who begins (the process of) creation; then repeats it; then shall ye be brought back to Him. On the Day that the Hour will be established, the guilty will be struck dumb with despair. No intercessor will they have among their "Partners" and they will (themselves) reject their "Partners". On the Day that the Hour will be established,- that Day shall (all men) be sorted out. Then those who have believed and worked righteous deeds, shall be made happy in a Mead of Delight. And those who have rejected Faith and falsely denied our Signs and the meeting of the Hereafter,- such shall be brought forth to Punishment. So (give) glory to God, when ye reach eventide and when ye rise in the morning; Yea, to Him be praise, in the heavens and on earth; and in the late afternoon and when the day begins to decline. It is He Who brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living, and Who gives life to the earth after it is dead: and thus shall ye be brought out (from the dead).
PS: The Quran 13:13 states: 'And glorifies the thunder [with] and the Angels for fear of Him. And He sends the thunderbolts and strikes with it whom He wills, yet they dispute about Allah. And He (is) Mighty (in) Strength.'
On 9/11 2015, just a few days before Hajj, a lightning struck while pilgrims were circumambulating the Kaaba in Makkah, the mother of cities. Was this another warning?
